# How to disable the editing of URL and back and forward button in browsers for Node-RED Dashboard

Hi  
I want to achieve the following two things in the Node-RED Dashboard

1. I want to disable the forward and back button of browser for dashboard screen
2. I want to disable the URL editing in browser , I have multiple tabs in my dashboard which i can access them simply changing the numbers in the URL [http://192.168.1.72:1880/ui/0](http://192.168.1.72:1880/ui/0) or [http://192.168.1.72:1880/ui/2](http://192.168.1.72:1880/ui/2) , I want to disable or one should not able to access the tabs in the dashboard by changing the URL in the browser  
Can anyone help in solving these issues .

I am building this application to be used in any browser such is the requirement , I Know that the above mentioned requirements can be done in JavaScript  
I would like some help in doing this
