# How To: Obtain a Bearer access token using Postman

I am trying to obtain an API token. I am using [the following resource](https://nodered.org/docs/api/admin/oauth#step-1---obtain-an-access-token) as a guide.

I can successfully obtain the access token via the Terminal app.

However, I **cannot** obtain the token while using Postman. (I am providing all of the necessary parameters.)

Am I missing something obvious? 🙄
