# How to send E-mails with Gmail after google less secure app access no longer available

hello everyone  
I tried to send a mail via Node-Red to a Gmail Email address. But then I found out that google less secure app access is no longer available since May 30th, 2022. So because of this you keep getting an error message when sending an E-mail in Node-Red. Is there already a fix for this or a way around this that it does work ? 🙂

Yes there is a solution. Try searching the forum for "app password"
