# How to set UI-Widget properties from external (DB2)

Hi everyone,

I need to set the UI-Slider properties dynamically during runtime

In this case I want to change

- Range.min
- Range.max
- Range.step

I'm interessted to understand how this dynamic updating works in DB2 for all widgets.

HI @xx_Nexus_xx - we currently haven't got support in for that - but it's a quickish win to build. Could I trouble you to open a [Feature Request](https://github.com/FlowFuse/node-red-dashboard/issues/new/choose) on our GitHub repo please?
