I did a demo here: [Migrating ui template from Dashboard-1 to Dashboard-2 - #8 by Steve-Mcl](https://discourse.nodered.org/t/migrating-ui-template-from-dashboard-1-to-dashboard-2/92891/8) that @krambriw ran with (and improved) you might be able to use as a basis.
