# How to use Profinet between two Raspberry Pi

Hello everyone,

Does anyone know how to set communication between two Raspberry Pi using Profinet?  
I went to install profinet nodes, but I did not see anything

Could anyone help me please?

there are two nodes in the flows library that come up using 'profinet' as the search option. It they don't work out, there is a node.js package: node-profinetdcp that might work for you, however you will be exploring new territiory.

Are you sure that is what you want to do? It seems a very unusual requirement. Do you wish to run one of them as an IO-Controller and one as an IO-Device?

I tried them but I do not really know how to use them. Do you have some basic example? Sorry I am brand new with Profinet

Yes, it is a project I must do. And yes, the idea is to have a Raspberry PLC from Industrial Shields as an IO-Controller and a Raspberry Pi as IO-Device
