# Http://registry.npmjs.org/node-red failed, reason: getaddrinfo EAI\_AGAIN registry.npmjs.org

Hi all, I'm trying install nodes as func-exec etc...but the error occurs  
request to [http://registry.npmjs.org/node-red](http://registry.npmjs.org/node-red) failed, reason: getaddrinfo EAI\_AGAIN [registry.npmjs.org](http://registry.npmjs.org)

I can install other node types succesfully. What I missing?

This is a DNS problem. Loads of info [on the WWW](https://www.google.com/search?q=EAI_AGAIN+registry.npmjs.org)  
Is the computer where node-red installed behind a proxy?  
Is node-red running in docker or VM?

Are you certain? I ask because you might "see them" in the palette manager but can you actually install?
