I wanted a simple way to monitor my Raspberry Pi without setting up a separate cloud service or building an entire dashboard from scratch.

PiMonitor runs locally in Node-RED and provides:

• CPU usage
• RAM usage
• CPU temperature
• Host disk usage
• Uptime and load average
• Automatic system health status
• Warning / critical thresholds
• 1-hour history charts
• Docker / Portainer support
• Responsive desktop/mobile dashboard

No Python, external database or cloud service is required.

I’ve tested the current release on a Raspberry Pi 5 with Node-RED running in Docker and node-red-dashboard 3.6.6.

It includes the Node-RED flow, PDF documentation, installation instructions and a Portainer/Docker setup guide.

**Launch price: €9.90**

Feedback is very welcome, especially from other Raspberry Pi and Node-RED users.

I don't mean to be rude, but who is going to pay for a local solution that any AI agent can handle?

You wanted to share your project, so share your flow so everyone can benefit from it.

Also note that the old node-red-dashboard has been deprecated for some time. The recommended dashboard is @flowfuse/node-red-dashboard.

Or UIBUILDER if you prefer more flexibility. 😉

Thanks for the feedback.

The point about the deprecated dashboard is absolutely valid. I originally built and tested PiMonitor on the Node-RED Dashboard installation I was already using on my Raspberry Pi 5, but I agree that a new release should target the current FlowFuse Dashboard instead.

I’m going to work on migrating the project to `@flowfuse/node-red-dashboard` before pushing it further.

Regarding the paid release, my intention wasn’t to claim that the individual monitoring functions are difficult to reproduce. The value I’m trying to build is around a tested, ready-to-import package, responsive UI, Docker/Portainer setup, documentation and future features such as secure remote access and alerts.

Thanks again — this is exactly the kind of feedback I was hoping to get by posting the project here.
