# I cant connect to github repository

hi
I cant load any project or push it to github
i have this error in consol
```auto
15 Aug 11:01:20 - [error] Error: remote: Support for password authentication was removed on August 13, 2021. Please use a personal access token instead.
remote: Please see https://github.blog/2020-12-15-token-authentication-requirements-for-git-operations/ for more information.
fatal: unable to access 'https://github.com/dxxd0/demo.git/': The requested URL returned error: 403
```
so I generate token in my account and repalced with my old password
but error still
how use token in node-red ?
please any help

I've got this same problem... I can't find how to specify the token instead of a password.

Complementing the other post, you use your username and input the token instead of a password when Node-Red asks for credentials.
If you don't know how to make a token, you can find that info [here](https://docs.github.com/en/github/authenticating-to-github/keeping-your-account-and-data-secure/creating-a-personal-access-token)
