# I cant connect via mqtt (im wondering that the version of mqtt its not the same on node red and rpb pi3 how can i make it the same versin)

Closing this thread because you have already this [Connection failed to broker ()](https://discourse.nodered.org/t/connection-failed-to-broker/60968) thread active.

The mosquitto broker you are running supports MQTT 3.1.1 - so that is not the issue here.
