# Inject Node - Max size of JSON payload

Hello .. according to the settings.js description ([source](https://github.com/node-red/node-red/blob/master/packages/node_modules/node-red/settings.js#L156)) the default max size of the json data is 5MB  
that can be changed by editing the `apiMaxLength` property
