Hi all,

does somebody know if it is possible to install [Docker](https://docs.docker.com/engine/install/debian/) after Node-RED was installed on a raspberry 4B running Debian GNU/Linux 12 (bookworm)?

The reason I want to install Docker is because I want to try out Nextcloud and I heard in podcast, that the easiest way to start with this is to use Docker.

Thank you all and kind regards
Thomas

Yes, the fact that you have installed node red should have no effect on installing docker.

@Colin Thank you very much for your answer!
But I just noticed that I asked the question incorrectly:
I wanted to know if my Node-RED installation will be negatively affected if I install Docker afterwards.
But I evaluate your answer positively for this case too.
Thank you again!
Greetings
Thomas

Installing docker will affect absolutely no applications including not affecting node red. There could be side effects on your computer due to what docker does to at the system level like networking and so forth, but your installation of node red will be completely untouched.
