# Installation of gaiandb node

Hello everyone,

I am trying to install gaiandb node But I am getting some error.  
It is not installing on my system.  
I want to know that, how i can install gaiandb node.  
Please help me out regarding this error.

On the right side in the debug sidebar it says “could not find a version of visual studio 2017 or newer”. The node you’re trying to install has components that need to be compiled, and to do so on Windows, NodeJS requires a compiler installed, specifically the one that comes with Visual studio. Read through those error messages and follow the instructions there.
