Some Tuya devices do not use only MQTT, it uses also some (for now unknown - not reverse-engineered) protocols to send data.

see here [https://github.com/codetheweb/tuyapi/discussions/502](https://github.com/codetheweb/tuyapi/discussions/502)

Try using _smartLife_ to do commands and see the MQTT exchange in node-red: this helps you to identify the _DP_s. (see a [guide here](https://github.com/msillano/tuyaDAEMON/wiki/Howto:-add-a-new-device-to-tuyaDAEMON)).

If really you don't found an MQTT command, the only solution I found to control _ALL Tuya devices_ is to trigger via **node-red** some ad-hoc Tuya '_automation_'.
To do this (and more IOT functions) I developed [TuyaDAEMON](https://github.com/msillano/tuyaDAEMON), an IOT framework.
An basic _trigger implementation_ can be found [here](https://discourse.nodered.org/t/voice-and-remote-control-for-any-node-red-flow/63068).

Now I'm working on solar extensions (see [TuyaDAEMON e il fotovoltaico](https://www.faidateoffgrid.org/viewtopic.php?f=68&t=4101#p66974)).

Hope that this gives you some help.
