# Is it possible to export Node-RED Flow as desktop application

Hi,

I was wondering if it is possible to export a Node-RED flow so it can be downloaded by others as a desktop application. I have been searching but cannot find a clear answer. Thank you in advance!

One way is to wrap it into an electron app - I have created a template app here - [GitHub - dceejay/electron-node-red: Electron Node-RED template](https://github.com/dceejay/electron-node-red) - but it was a while ago so probably needs some updating to use latest libraries and features. How successful it is may depend on what kind of app it will be - eg if it has hardware dependencies like access to ports it may be harder etc etc
