# Is it possible to set output labels of a function node?

I saw in the docs how to create output labels for a custom node, but I would like to label outputs in a function node. Is that possible?

For that matter, is it possible to set labels in a switch node when the option is set to jsonata?

You can label node outputs (and inputs) on the Appearance tab.

You can add labels to the inputs and outputs using the Appearance tab
