# Is it possible to use Let's encrypt and duckdns without home assistant?

Is this possible ? There is a node or something that node red can do that will generate https and update duckdns?

I believe it is but this isn't a Node-RED question. Try looking for Let's Encrypt answers.

It is because i want to node red to handle with the let's encrypt and duckdns ....

in that case you will need to find a node that will do it or code one yourself
