# Is the dashboard TEMPLATE node standard with the dashboard?

If the correct dashboard (`node-red-dashboard`) is the `template` node installed by default?

The ui-template node is yes

You can see this in manage palette

I am helping someone else and I sent them a flow with the dashboard's `template` node.

They say the node isn't _installed_.  
I assumed they had the dashboard installed, so I needed to check.
