# Is there a book detailing how to program node red?

Like title, I need a book that introduces the node red program in great detail ...  
If no that will be very difficult to use node-red!

Probably lots of [3rd party books on Node-Red](https://www.google.com/search?q=node-red+books) you can find in a bookstore, but books about software tend to be outdated by the time they are published.

However there is an up to date book in electronic form that I have been reading

I recommend watching this playlist: [Node-RED Essentials](https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLyNBB9VCLmo1hyO-4fIZ08gqFcXBkHy-6). The videos are done by the developers of node-red. They're nice & short and to the point. You will understand a whole lot more in about 1 hour. A small investment for a lot of gain.
