# Is there any way to reduce md-card height?

After adding nodes to dashboard height of the node seem to have a minimum of 48px.
Is there any way to modify that? I tried with templates but with no success..

Have you looked in the, group, page, theme and base configs for settings related to height?

Each page has a theme setting, so different pages can use different themes.

What you mean with page? You have a Site containing tabs, containing groups.
The only way I found is to modify on Site level.
I do require size modification on group level (one dedicated group) you maybe modify with template note. However, I was not successful on it.

You need to be looking at the "Theming" (sic) tab and edit your page's theme

You tagged this post with #dashboard-2 but that screenshot is from original (depreciated) dashboard. So you have been given advice for dashboard 2 which won't make sense to you.

I thought v3.6.5 was greater than 2.0. I didn't realize that it was a different module. After the change, everything works as expected.

3.6.5 is the version of the original dashboard package, now known as dashboard 1. Dashboard 2.0 is a different package which is currently at version 1.17.1.

I've said previously that it's confusing for users calling DB2 - dashboard 2.0, as the 2.0 infers a version number.
It should be called Dashboard 2 !
