# Issue installing node-red-contrib-rtsp-client and node-red-contrib-ffmpeg-spawn

Hi @Mel,  
Welcome to Discourse!

Unfortunately I have some bad news. My [node-red-contrib-rtsp-client](https://github.com/bartbutenaers/node-red-contrib-rtsp-client) has never been published on NPM, so it isn't available in the Node-RED palette. You need to install it directly from my Github repository. I have updated the installation instructions in the readme page on the link above.

But be aware that I won't be supporting that node anymore. I have been developing a series of video related nodes over the years, but there was no interest from our community to contribute. So a few weeks ago I have finally decided to quit with video processing _ **inside** _ Node-RED, and abandon all these nodes. Now I am trying to get Frigate running _ **outside** _ Node-RED (see [this](https://discourse.nodered.org/t/how-to-use-external-nvr-frigate-blueiris-with-node-red/94212) discussion).
