# KNX-Ultimate gains Matter Controller and Bridge

The maintainer of the [KNX-Ultimate](https://flows.nodered.org/node/node-red-contrib-knx-ultimate) node [has done a huge number of updates](https://github.com/Supergiovane/node-red-contrib-knx-ultimate/blob/master/CHANGELOG.md) in August and September 2026.  
Matter Controller + Bridge and MQTT has been added.  
KNX-AI has been moved and rewrote to the new [Cerebrum Ultimate](https://flows.nodered.org/node/node-red-contrib-cerebrum-ultimate) node.

This has simplified and purged the node of extra fluffy stuff.  
The aim is to focus solely on KNX, thus allowing Matter and HUE to work seamlessly with KNX, to spare the KNX installer from headaches.

I'ts currently fully integrated with KNX Ultimate, [TTS Ultimate](https://flows.nodered.org/node/node-red-contrib-tts-ultimate) and [Unifi Ultimate](https://flows.nodered.org/node/node-red-contrib-unifi-ultimate), with more to come.

Great node, i use it for many years

What we need is Matter ultimate, there ist no good Bridge for nodered
