In my quest to automate everything in sight, I came across this project to add Wi-Fi remote control to Bestway Lay-Z-Spa branded inflatable hot tubs 😀.

It's a really neat solution, which works by adding an ESP between the display unit and the pump controller, to intercept message data between the two. This can also be controlled via MQTT, and I believe there are HA integrations.
I couldn't find any NR solutions, so I will be working on something, which I can share here if anyone is interested.
Also if someone has already done something with this in NR then I'd be happy hear from you 😉
