What are you running Node-RED embedded in?

Those are not standalone Node-RED routes, and the Dashboard editor expects to not behind a proxy that is injecting elements into the path

The current release of Node-red is 4.0.8, why are you using a superceded version?

The current release of Dashboard 2 (@flowfuse/node-red-dashboard) is 1.21.0.
Dashboard 3.6.5 - looks like you also have node-red-dashboard.
This version is irrelevant to the dashboard 2 layout editor.

Thanks for your answers!

Node Red runs as a web app under a Signal K server.
The last released version is 3.1.15

i have also installed (@flowfuse/node-red-dashboard 1.21.0)

Is there another way to adjust the layout?

Thanks Fritz

The original and Dashboard 2 are totally separate. You can't use the layout editor from one dashboard on the other and the dashboard is presented at a different URL.

Because you have a packaged up version of Node-red from Signal K and they alter the URLs I can't tell which dashboard you have.

Maybe they can advise you, or perhaps someone else here is familiar with the Node-red from Signal K.

If it's the original dashboard it has a rudimentary layout editor you can access from the Dashboard sidebar

And the editor looks like this

That's what I see.
Looks a little different

That does look like dashboard 2.

I have very little experience with that layout editor, I struggle to get it to do anything.

Can I also use the old editor with the new Gauges?

Your question is ambiguous. But see this:

Thanks,

I'll use the old editor with the old gauges, maybe the Dashboard 2.0 will run with a new version.
