I recommend watching this playlist: [Node-RED Essentials](https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLyNBB9VCLmo1hyO-4fIZ08gqFcXBkHy-6). The videos are done by the developers of node-red. They're nice & short and to the point. You will understand a whole lot more in about 1 hour. A small investment for a lot of gain.

Thanks @Sean-McG I went through that already, This is what i need to build with node-red:
I would like to build a scada system that reads data from a PLC. Display these data to a dashboard. I believe i would need to use an SVG to build the dashabord. I do need all the learning resources i can get

The forum has been going for a good few years, so it's an excellent resource.
There is a pretty good chance that anything specific you need has already been asked before.
Break your project into key parts and search for similar questions, I have learned a lot over the years that way.

I was slightly wary of suggesting node-red-contrib-ui-svg, as I don't think it's quite ready for Dashboard 2 yet.

That is true - but does show what can achieved. But I'm sure it will be by the time Elvis is ready to enter the building 😉
