# Let's discuss how we might use AI to detect people in stills, for low CPU users like me

You may well have found several of the older projects already on here age - [AI enhanced video security system with Node-RED controller/viewer](https://discourse.nodered.org/t/ai-enhanced-video-security-system-with-node-red-controller-viewer/21622) and [Standalone Raspberry Pi Security Camera with AI "person detection"](https://discourse.nodered.org/t/standalone-raspberry-pi-security-camera-with-ai-person-detection/1470) for example. Many of the folk that appear in those threads are still very active here so have probably got newer and better setups in use already.
