# Limitation on number of links (connections)

Hi All,

Just a quick question due to a design I'm trying to make work under node-red ( [Command design pattern](https://discourse.nodered.org/t/command-design-pattern/35461) ).

Is there any limitation on the number of links/connections a function node or switch node can handle?
