# Link nodes - auto create the node name from the node it is first wired to

Link node labelling can be tedious. It would be a nice option if, when wiring a link node, that if the link node label is empty, it auto-inherits its name from the node output/input it is being wired to. A format that includes both the node name and input/output name would be ideal.

Conversely, when a node or node input/output label changes, NR attempts to auto-name all unnamed link nodes the node is directly wired to.
