# Mermaid xychart-beta support in markdown node

Is mermaid support inherited from node-red or does dashboard 2 include its own mermaid library ?
mermaid changes quite often and they have added [xychart-beta](https://mermaid.js.org/syntax/xyChart.html), which makes it possible to make line/bar charts easily, would be nice if this feature could be added to dashboard 2 as well, as it is easier (for me at least) to generate charts instead of the dedicated db chart nodes.

The later (includes its own), currently the semver requested is `^10.4.0` which means any of the 10.x stream. When was this feature added to mermaid?

Ok ignore me, earlier it failed to render with a default mermaid error. It is working, after restarting node-red.
