# Modbus TCP previews correct output, but receiving end gets garbage

Thank you for your patience and help, Colin!

I just posted a better example. I was wondering from a couple other threads I saw, those numbers don't look like some sort of known [weird endian or bitwise shenanigans](https://discourse.nodered.org/t/scaled-value-while-reading-modbus/75871) going on to you, do they?
