As I said, it is in the mqtt broker node config, down at the bottom
Another difference I am seeing is that for me the status goes to disconnected and stays there until it goes to connected.
Which version of node-red are you currently using?
Yes the broker was started with a clean session.
Original problem instance node-red v1.35
Check instance, node-red v2.0
