MQTT out node disconnects when topic field is empty

Did you get a chance to look this ↑ issue over?

I am fairly certain it is something we should look at.

I could raise a PR and point back to this topic for reference?

I also seen another similar post earlier this week: MQTT Time Out / Random Disconnect - #2 by Steve-Mcl - possibly related.
