Another tip if you choose the sonoff stick. Currently only the sonoff branch of the flash python script supports flashing the firmware without disassembling the stick to get access to the flash button:
python.exe cc2538-bsl.py -p COM3 -evw --bootloader-sonoff-usb latestFirmware.hex
