Hi @freakytag,  
I hadn't seen your previous question, since I got no notification about it. I'm not using audio at the moment in Node-RED...  
But I see that you have meanwhile asked the same question in another [discussion](https://discourse.nodered.org/t/node-red-microphone-using-your-phone-as-a-microphone-livestream/46593/2). @janvda has given over there the same answer as I probably would have given...
