# Node Red access from another device within same network

Hello,
I'm using node red on my vm threw hyperV and have set up node red there.
After I start node-red it says: nodered is now running on 127.0.0.1:1883
Can I use node red now on my other PC? I enter the ip adress, but it says there is no connection. I have deactivated both firewalls, still no progress.
Could someone help pls?

That address is the localhost address. You have to use whatever the IP address of the VM is.

allright, i've just took the ipv4 address and it worked. thank you for your answer, and sorry for a bit "stupid" question..
