# Node-Red and Excel Files

Hello, Node is built on Red Raspberry Pi. I can create an excel file inside Pi using "node-red-contrib-alasql". However, I want to move this file to my windows computer over the network. How can I do it?

[Mount the windows share](https://rasspberrypi.wordpress.com/2012/09/04/mounting-and-automounting-windows-shares-on-raspberry-pi/amp/) on the pi & use the file node to write it to the mount point.

did you [Mount the windows share](https://rasspberrypi.wordpress.com/2012/09/04/mounting-and-automounting-windows-shares-on-raspberry-pi/amp/) on the pi (by following the instructions in the link)?

once you have done that, use a `file` node to write the excel file to the mounted point - which will magically write the file to the share on the windows computer.
