I am trying to build a system to track user-journey and currently exploring the module node-red-contrib-cep for my CEP usecase. Have some question around the same.  
facing issue in figuring out how the pattern node works in node-red user interface. The docs are not helping.  
Can anyone help ?

You might open an issue on the nodes GitHub page if you think the documentation is lacking. I do notice it hasn’t been updated in over 5 years.
