# Node-red-contrib-google-home-notify

Does anybody has this node running? I’m able to see that is connecting to my google-home however I’m not able to pull any message to be heard from it.

David, I use it. Not sure what you mean by “pull messages from it”.

The way this works is that you put the IP address of yr google home in the node. Then you send it a string payload (use inject to test it). Google home then speaks the string you sent it. The string must be \<200 chars.

It does crash a lot (socket hang up), but a reset fixes it.

Is it possible to send any audio file like mp3 or wav?
