Welcome to the forum @ld202167

The key error is  
`2022-03-12T21:16:18.298Z [err] npm ERR! gyp ERR! stack Error: not found: make`  
That suggests you have not installed the build tools. How to do that depends on your OS, but it may be something like  
`sudo apt install build-essential`

If `make` is not installed then that is most definitely a problem that will make installations fail. How do you know that `make` is installed?

What OS and hardware are you running on and how did you install node red?

When you said that I assumed that you meant that you wanted to install node red not using the plugin.

I don't know how to communicate with HA from a native install of node-red, other than using MQTT, for example.

Your original problem was because you are running in Docker and the build tools were not present in the Docker environment (I assume). I don't know how to solve that problem with the HA plugin. Probably an HA forum would be able to help.
