# Node-red-contrib-usbcamera not working

When I use this node "node-red-contrib-usbcamera" it generates a path output to /home/perigalacticon/Pictures/image01.jpg but the photo is not there. How do I make this work?

What have you tried? Can you create a small flow showing the problem? If so export t and attach it to a reply.  
In addition

1. What version of Node-REDD and node.js are you running (you can get this from the NR start up log)
2. what device and OS is NR running on?

I see you have opened an [issue on the node's GitHub page](https://github.com/makaishi2/node-red-contrib-usbcamera/issues/3). But seeing that this node has not been updated if 7 years, it looks like it has been abandoned.
