# Node-red-contrib-zigbee cannot be installed

Dear All,

being new to the world of node red (and linux at all) I am trying to make my first (small) steps. I have installed node-red in a docker container according to the (pretty straight forward) instructions by a german magazine as explained here: [ct-Smart-Home](https://github.com/ct-Open-Source/ct-Smart-Home)

As first start, I am trying to pair some simple zigbee devices (innr power plug and xiaomi mini switch). However, from what I have understood a good start for the pairing is to install node-red-contrib-zigbee. However, this contrib is somehow broken, at least the installation (via manage palette/ -\> install) fails with a lot of errors in the log file. While other contribs can easily be installed. May I ask you for support regarding this issue ?
