# Node RED receive email

Hi,

I'm using the node-red-node-email npm to receive emails from a mailbox. When set on automatically every 5 seconds it works fine. Unfortunatelly when I want to trigger it after a switch I get a connect error.  
Normally, I thought that the data coming from the switch doesn't matter since that the configuration to connect to the INBOX is inside the mail block.  
What can be the mistake in this flow?
