# Node Red Server Sent Events

Hi,  
I am using @tq-bit/node-red-contrib-server-sent-events : sse-server ([node-red-contrib-server-sent-events (node) - Node-RED](https://flows.nodered.org/node/@tq-bit/node-red-contrib-server-sent-events/scorecard)). I have setup a small flow , But Im unable to receive the message in the data. Can anyone let me know how I can do this?

You know that you need to use the matching client node?

Instructions are in the README and there is also an example flow that is referenced there.

I don't think that will work. As a trial, add the client node to see if it works.
