hi, i create a virtual device

If i ask to alexa which is the temperature of pippo she says 22 C°  
i dont know where she takes this value first question  
the second question is : can i pass the value of a real sensor . the sensor is wired to a plc siemens s7 1200.  
tx all for some idea
