# Node-Red to run in AWS EC2 with https

Hi,

It works greate to run Node-Red in an AWS ES2 instance (ubuntu vertual machine). However, the ND editor is not particulary secure because it is under http. I want to run it under https.

I tried to run it under hittps by referencing sites like: [here](http://www.steves-internet-guide.com/securing-node-red-ssl/) and [here](https://notenoughtech.com/raspberry-pi/how-to-add-ssl-certification-to-nodered/).

But I have not suceeded it and having error like here:

So I still get "Not secure" on the address field.

If there is anyone who has suceeded in running node-red in AWS EC2 with ssl, it would be nice to know how it was done.
