Is there a reason you are using a version that is two years old? I don't remember an issue as you describe, but it is a long time ago.

As you claimed something that is (now) proven to be wrong, it doesn't really matter.

I meant what does it do in the editor pane, but presumably it didn't do anything.

I think the only way of progressing this is to update to the latest node-red, otherwise we may just be chasing a long fixed issue.

Obviously, if you decide to do that, make sure everything is well backed up first.
