# Numeric node and Text Node

Wondering if there is any update on the Numeric node being added to Dashboard 2.0?

Also, it seems that the "Value Format" is missing in the new Text Node. Is there a way to replicate that with the new Dashboard 2.0 text node?

It went live in the `1.15.0` release this week: [Release v1.15.0 · FlowFuse/node-red-dashboard · GitHub](https://github.com/FlowFuse/node-red-dashboard/releases/tag/v1.15.0)

Recommended to use the core `template` node to format before sending to the `ui-text` node: [Text ui-text | Node-RED Dashboard 2.0](https://dashboard.flowfuse.com/nodes/widgets/ui-text.html#rendering-msg-content)

This gives the advantage of providing access to `flow` and `global` context variables too
