# On device Activity (node-red-contrib-alexa-remote2-applestrudel 5.0.25)

Hi forum !! I have been using Node Red (3.0.02 on raspy) for Home Automation for a while and it works great.  
I installed for integration with Alexa (node-red-contrib-alexa-remote2-applestrudel 5.0.25) . It works well but the "On device Activity" node activity only works for Alexa Echo and not for smartphones, is this normal?

so there is no way to "intercept" the events made by other devices?
