# Perfomance impact of debug nodes

Hi  
I have a whole bunch of debug nodes in my flow. All of them are turned on currently. My question is:  
Is there an impact on runtime performance if the debug nodes are left on if the flow is not being displayed in any browser (the node-red ui is not currently being displayed).
