# Ping ip dashboard

Hi everyone,
I am new with Node Red. I want make a dashboard with Ping status (Latency dashboard). I want to ping a IP and I want the see on the dashboard its online (ping succesfull sent) or offline (no response) and the latency.
How can I do this?

Hi and welcome.
You can use the Ping node to an ping an IP or group or of IP's. you can use the dashboard nodes to display the returned data. Each node has help text in the sidebar under the book icon. There should be examples of formats there. Have a go and post any questions or issues you come across. You can install the nodes using the palette which can be accessed from the menu.
